David Lynch is movie director, television producer, painter, animator, cartoonist, furniture designer, philanthropist, activist, mail order coffee mogul, amateur meteorologist, and several other things all at once. This is, after all, a David ...  

The set, to be limited to 2,500 copies worldwide, will feature songs from Beatles friend (and fellow Maharishi Mahesh Yogi meditator) Donovan, former Apple Records artist Mary Hopkin, Peter & Gordon, who had top 10 hits with several Lennon & McCartney songs.

On the other hand, David Lynch may as well be the art-house Donald Trump at this point, pursuer of nominal glories bordering on the fetishistic at best and the gratuitously stupid at worst. Take this new coffee ad, for example -- probably better ...

That is correct: Commencing tomorrow at SIFF Cinema at the Uptown is In Dreams: The Films of David Lynch, featuring every feature film Lynch has made except one (Inland Empire, so who cares?). I have loved David Lynch even since I was twelve and went to see The Elephant Man, and the first 30 minutes were so terrifying I tried to get a ticket refund but they said no so I went back in and watched and was of course blown away. Later came Blue...  

Nika Roza Danilova, better known by Zola Jesus, was remixed in a big way today. Not only did the emerging art-rocker’s Conatas track get a drastically reimagined version, but it was by the hands of the director-turned-musician behind classics like Eraserhead, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive.
