David Poole, the NASCAR’s  motorsports columnist for the Charlotte Observer, died Tuesday of a heart attack at 50. Charlotte Observer NASCAR reporter, David Poole, had a heart attack in his Stanfield home. Poole’s daughter called 911 and he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
