In the last 18 months, she lost her TV anchor job, suffered a miscarriage and watched as a sexually charged public scandal humiliated her TV anchor husband Larry Mendte and led to his firing, conviction and house arrest.

The former Philly anchor who was fired and sued after hacking into co-anchor Alycia Lane's emails, is trying to syndicate his own TV show.  

DAWN STENSLAND will be leaving Fox 29 at the end of her contract, sometime before the end of the year, the station has confirmed. The timetable of her departure is being worked out, a spokeswoman said yesterday. Kerri-Lee Halkett will take over as co-anchor of "Fox 29 News at 10" with Thomas Drayton. Stensland, wife of fired CBS 3 anchor Larry Mendte, started at Fox 29 in December 2001. She worked previously anchoring at CBS 3.

Larry Mendte is apparently pushing a show Coming Clean to TV news execs, wherein news stories beneath headlines would be analyzed, with a removal of bias and spin. His treatment on YouTube got pulled because CBS objected to the inclusion of (copyrighted) footage of Mendte's anchor work on Philly's KYW-3. Dawn Stensland will end her eight-year run as a main anchor at Fox29 by the end of the year when her contract expires, a station spokeswoman said yesterday.  

The former anchor says despite scandal and heartbreak she's more in love with Larry Mendte than ever.
