I can't get over the fact that Dawn Wells, aka Mary Ann from "Gilligan's Island," was arrested for marijuana possession. She's 69 years old for goodness sakes.
Wells was returning from her surprise birthday party when Idaho police pulled her over for swerving across lanes. They found four partially smoked joints in her car. Mary Ann (it's kinda like her alter ego now or something) said hitch hikers left the weed behind.

Apparently, when the sherriff pulled her over and asked about the marijuana smell, she claimed to have given a ride to 3 hitchhikers, but had dropped them off after they started smoking "something". It was a beautiful day outside today. Nice in the 60’s, tomorrow should be the same way and I may get to open up a window when I get home and go to bed. Dawnell had the day off work today and she went to her doctors appointment but found out it had been cancelled and no one had called her. It really sucks how doctor offices will cancel an appointment and not notify the patient, especially with gas prices as high as they are.

Mary Ann is in trouble, thanks to Mary Jane. Gilligan's Island star Dawn Wells has been sentenced to six months' unsupervised probation after she was arrested last October in Driggs, Idaho, for having marijuana in her car. The former actress, 69, pleaded guilty Feb. 29 to one count of reckless driving. As part of her plea bargain, additional misdemeanor counts of driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance were dropped. Read Full Story
