DeMarcus Van Dyke got quite the introduction to the NFL. The rookie cornerback from Miami was lined up against Arizona superstar receiver Larry Fitzgerald on his first series of his exhibition debut and the Cardinals went right at him. Van Dyke allowed a long completion to Fitzgerald on the first pass his way even though he did have tight coverage. To all those that said the Raiders selected cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke in the third round of the draft only because of his speed, coach Hue Jackson said that’s simply not the case. Earlier today Wes Bunting of the National Football Post mentioned that he thinks Maryland wide receiver Torrey Smith could be the fastest player at the combine, and run in the 4.2's in the 40-yard dash. Smith responded to Bunting's claims on twitter. "I'm fast but not 4.2 fast haha that's moving," Smith wrote.
