DeShawn Stevenson

Stevenson was inserted into the starting lineup, but missed all five of his shots. In addition, he appeared to tweak his ankle, but was able to remain in the game. It goes without saying, but you can do much better than Stevenson in fantasy leagues.

Stevenson has been sidelined with knee problems since the end of January, but he'll return to a starting role in place of Shawne Williams (shoulder). Stevenson is averaging just 2.9 points on 27.4 percent shooting this season.  

Stevenson has been out since the end of January with knee woes, but he said that he will play on Wednesday if it's up to him. Stevenson is getting healthier, but he offers no sustainable fantasy value to owners in standard sized leagues.  

Stevenson recently underwent Orthokine therapy, the same procedure that helped Kobe Bryant rejuvenate his knees this summer. He said his knees now feel as good as they have since 2004, yet another advertisement for the blood-spinning treatment.  

New Jersey Nets general manager Billy King will not make any roster moves and vows that the struggling team will continue to play with a current roster that includes two former Valley standouts in DeShawn Stevenson (Washington High) and Brook ...  

The Nets will be without guards MarShon Brooks and DeShawn Stevenson for Tuesday's game against the Pacers in Indianapolis. Brooks, the Nets announced today, fractured his right pinkie toe, though the team is unsure when the injury occurred.
