We are saddened to report that Dody Goodman has passed away at the age of 93. Dody Goodman was a comedian and played the role of mother on the show Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. She was also a frequent guest on Jack Paar’s late night talk show. Also to her credit, Dody played off Broadway roles, was a chorus member and basically just made people laugh. Dody was born in Columbus, Ohio. She never married and has no children. She passed on Sunday at the Englewood Hospital and Medical Center after being ill for some time. Scott Kalitta was 2 time NHRA top-fuel champion and winner of 18 career races. He had been drag racing since 1985 and was the son of legendary drag race Champion Connie Kalitta. He died in an NHRA qualifying event in New Jersey when his car exploded into flames. He was traveling at 300 mph at the time of the accident. Scott Kalitta was 46 years old.
