Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.) capped her comments on health care reform with brief profiles of two real people who need the system to change. One was 12-year-old Benjamin French, the subject of a recent story from HuffPost Investigative Fund : Benjamin French was born with his right arm missing below the elbow. On February 5, 2009, Judge Bolle of the 52-4 District Court, Troy, Michigan, revoked Alycia Martin's HYTA status and sentenced her to 5 days in the Oakland County Jail without comment. The rationale behind that violation of probation was that Martin had failed to comply with certain PBT test requirements, drug screenings, and payment of fines and costs. According to the Detroit Free Press online : In tears, the Westland woman accused of accepting money for sex from the husband of U.S. Sen.
