According to Juno Award organizers, Cox and Turner, two Canadian-based R&B/pop starlets, have each earned at least one nomination. Cox, who released "The Promise" late last year, has earned a nomination for R&B/Soul Recording of the Year where she'll compete with Divine Brown (The Love Chronicles), Elise Estrada, Ivana Santilli and Zaki Ibrahim.
