You may believe it or not but most people think having outdoor fountains in their homes bring good fortune. Says who? – Feng Shui!
For those of you who are not yet familiar with the term, feng shui (read as fung'-shway) has its origin from the Ancient Chinese system of aesthetics whose principles merge the laws of Heaven (astronomy) and Earth (geography). Literally, the word translates as “wind-water” in English and is considered by many to be accurate.

That is why most feng shui experts suggest to close the toilet lids and bathroom doors to prevent the stagnant water from these areas from negatively influencing the feng shui in your home.
