Pre-heat the grill to med-low to ... Read Full Story

But first, I must digress.  I am having an oil-crisis.  It annoys me when a recipe calls for more than 1/4 cup of oil in which the grillee soaks, and then the marinade is disposed of without a fare-the-well.  Some reasoning ... Is it possible to over-marinate meat, especially chicken? The timing is just wrong for this recipe I want to make. I can either do it with practically no marinating time, or I would have to leave it for almost 12 hours, which is longer than the recipe calls for. Which would be better?
