Today makes 1 week since my surgery and everything had gotten better until yesterday when I rode to take my Mother back to the airport. Now I feel like day 3 all over again but with no pain meds. I only have one dose left of my pain meds and this pain woke me up last night. I couldnt move it...

According to the Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit, Dr. Jason Michael Hunt, 40, of Guntersville was arrested Tuesday night and charged with possession of methamphetamine and hydrocodone and two counts of distributing hydrocodone, alprazolam and phentremine.

State report also highlights ongoing problem in Palm Beach County The so-called "nation's pill mill" that is Broward County again leads the state in overdoses involving several prescription medications, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said Tuesday.  

Sens. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) have written to Attorney General Eric Holder protesting the DEA crackdown on pain medicine prescriptions. Pharmacies, nursing home administrators and geriatric experts agree with them. They are asking Holder to revise DEA policies on prescribing meds like percocet and morphine, and to seek a legislative change.
