Denny Hamlin , the 28-year-old American NASCAR driver, won at Pocono Raceway in the Pennsylvania 500 today. The win came after his grandmother's death on Friday. The AP reported: This was Hamlin's first victory since Martinsville Speedway in March 2008, and he strengthened his bid for a spot in the Chase for the championship. The race had originally been scheduled for a day earlier but was pushed back due to rain. The win was Hamlins first of the season and broke a 50 race winless streak.
