Using the internet for dental marketing stopped by simply establishing a web site. “We have a web site!” was the cry from many practitioners, and web sites have generated substantial returns in terms of new clients and extremely cost effectively for dental practices. Time has moved on and the internet has developed and evolved; in particular, how users make use of search engines to find information has led to a radical restructuring of how web sites are ranked by the likes of Google, Yahoo! and MSN.
