President George W. Bush, Karl Rove, the former White House political adviser, both appear to have helped orchestrate the firing of former New Mexico U.S. Attorney David Iglesias after receiving numerous complaints from Republican activists that Iglesias did not prosecute individuals for voter fraud before the 2006 midterm elections, according to a report on the U.S. Attorney purge released Monday by the Department of Justice's internal watchdog. The 356-page report is the culmination of an... Read Full Story
Raw Story has published a very provocative angle to the anthrax story. The repercussions may well be a major nail in BushCo's coffin. Some of the culprits include the lovely Paul Wolfowitz and H. Ross Perot, who at least made some attempts to address the issue. Please forward this to loved ones who served in the first Gulf War. Let them know their health and well being was deliberately compromised by our government. White Hou se memo exposes Rove knew of problems with anthrax vaccine Allen... Read Full Story
Chris Wallace
It was a wonderful thing to read about Chris Wallace calling out MSNBC and the media in general for their blatant bias. Wallace made the remarks as part of a panel discussing media bias at the Television Critics Association in Los Angeles. The panel included Chris Wallace, Karl Rove, Howard Wolfson, and Fox VP John Moody.
The panel took questions from a large group of journalists who predictably went after Karl Rove right from the jump.
Does having Karl Rove as a... Read Full Story
I was just thinking the other day that I haven’t seen the Code Pinkos off their meds in a while, but they made a strong and ridiculous comeback on Tuesday.
Former Bush aide Karl Rove (The Devil) was on a panel in San Francisco discussing the mortgage crisis, when all of a sudden one of the broads from Code Pink appears on stage and attempts to handcuff Rove. She screamed that she was making a “citizen’s arrest” of Karl for ‘”treason.”
Security appeared seconds later and dragged the woman... Read Full Story
A day after the Huffington Post first reported it , The New York Times has announced that it has indeed hired conservative pundit, and Fox News analyst, Bill Kristol, as a new regular op-ed columnist.
I’m not sure what prompted The Times to finally make an attempt to balance out their egregiously left-wing Op-Ed section, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
Of course the epicenter of “free speech” (as long as it’s liberal free speech) known as the Far-Left Blogosphere is... Read Full Story
By Zebulon Pike | January 27, 2009 It's important to realize the motivating forces behind the pending investigations of former President Bush's advisers. President Obama's stimulus plan is doomed to fail. His only recourse is to keep 50% + 1% of Americans fixated on their hatred of George W. Bush's Administration : AP WASHINGTON – The House Judiciary Committee chairman subpoenaed former White House adviser Karl Rove on Monday to testify about the Bush administration 's firing of nine U.S... As I suspect most of you have figured out, I think Karl Rove is a disgusting pig and that he, the Chimperator , and Emperor Cheney have all broken various laws and need to be put on trial Whether or not they will ever beheld accountable for all the misdeeds they have done remains to be seen. None the less, I have to applaud those who bring media attention their crimes. This incident in Iowa, thus is quite amusing to me, and I totally agree with Rev. Guinn's statement and I do my best to... Read Full Story
One of the most upsetting things I've seen happen to political discourse over the last four years is demonization of political opposition. People who are on the other side of the aisle are no longer just wrong but they are pure evil and out to destroy the world. I think this type of demonization especially runs wild in the political blogsophere. That's why I enjoyed Karl Rove's response in this video: Wow! Can't you just see it in his eyes how he's out to steal the '08 election from the... Read Full Story
Via Steve Benen : ABC News’ Christianne Klein reports that at a breakfast with Republican insiders at the Capitol Hill Club this morning, former White House senior aide Karl Rove referred to Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, as “coolly arrogant.” “Even if you never met him, you know this guy,” Rove said, per Christianne Klein. “He’s the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone who... Paul Krugman of the New York Times makes very cogent points about what is happening in the political campaign wars. He stated the following: "The willingness of the McCain campaign to engage in these tactics, employing such tainted spokesmen, tells us that the campaign has decided to go negative — specifically, to apply the strategy Karl Rove used so effectively in 2002 and 2004 (but not so effectively in 2006), that of portraying Democrats as unpatriotic." Picture of Paul Krugman I believe... Read Full Story
