On Thursday the New York Yankees announced that Derek Jeter was cleared by his physicians to start running and resume baseball activities. Jeter starting fielding grounders hit directly at him as well as swinging a bat. Derek had been with the team through their last homestand and was seen playing catch in the outfield.
