According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer , the Eagles will place the franchise tag on wide receiver DeSean Jackson who’ll be a free agent once March 13th rolls around.
The Eagles have until March 5th to officially franchise Jackson.
As we’re reported before, the Eagles will likely look to trade Jackson and if they can’t get the compensation they’re looking for, he’ll play under the tag for the 2012 season in Philly.
