All-America wide receiver Dez Bryant has been ruled ineligible by Oklahoma State, four days before the 15th-ranked Cowboys' first Big 12 game. The university announced Wednesday that Bryant "failed to openly disclose to the NCAA the full details of his interaction with a former NFL player not affiliated with OSU." Oklahoma State (3-1) said it had already begun the process of asking the NCAA to reinstate Bryant for the violation of bylaw 10.1(d), which prohibits players from knowingly providing false information to the NCAA regarding a possible rules violation. Former NFL player Deion Sanders says his longtime agent was not present for his meeting with Oklahoma State's Dez Bryant and the former star never gave the player gifts. Sanders says on the NFL Network's "NFL Gameday Morning" on Sunday that his wife and Bryant's girlfriend were also present for the meeting at his house "and we played basketball and had a good home-cooked meal." STILLWATER, Okla., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Suspended wide receiver Dez Bryant of 18th-ranked Oklahoma State has decided to enter the 2010 NFL Draft, ESPN reported. Bryant, a junior from Lufkin, Texas, was declared ineligible by the Big 12 Conference school on Oct. 7 for allegedly failing to fully disclose to NCAA investigators his contact with former NFL great Deion Sanders.
