Diana Nicole DeGarmo was born on June 16, 1987 in Birmingham, Alabama. Diana DeGarmo is an American singer and Broadway actress, whom is of Italian, Mexican, and Native American descent. She finished as the runner-up on the third season of the reality/talent-search television series American Idol, narrowly missing the win by about 2% (approximately 1.3 million votes) out of over 65 million votes. Awwww she's all grown up !  Diana DeGarmo used to be the cute, blonde-haired bombshell with the unsuspecting (white girl) voice on season three of American Idol .  Now, she's at the CMA's with a darker 'do and still looking fierce. Diana Degarmo, star of the Off-Broadway hit The TOXIC AVENGER; will play the title role in a one-night-only, concert presentation of LIBERTY: A NEW MUSICAL. Produced by the New York Musical Theater Festival and Theresa Wozunk, LIBERTY: A NEW MUSICAL will make its premiere at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Theatre Row?s Acorn Theatre (410 W 42nd Street).
