Image via CrunchBase " Apple 's iTunes App Store is one of the hottest things going right now in the mobile space. Apple in fact just hit one billion downloaded iPhone applications. But there's a mystery behind the scenes here - one that's bigger than "Who is Batman ?" Namely, just who exactly at Apple controls the iTunes App Store home screen (depicted above) and what goes into the featured choices they make each week? On the surface, the App Store appears to be truly democratic and open to any developer. Like clockwork, every Tuesday at midnight PST the deck is reshuffled on both ... Read Full Story

Image via CrunchBase This may be on of Steve Rubel 's Articles yet ! This idea didn't occur to me when I started and this blog five years ago and named it Micro Persuasion, but in all honesty it could have. It's been percolating in my subconscious for a long time. In the digital age - where every second there is something new tugging at our attention - we are influenced more than ever by tiny little icons. And there's no sign of the trend abating. It used to be that in the old days only brands could afford nice logos. However, today almost ... Read Full Story

Image via Wikipedia I have been reading Blue Blog and been using  Adaptive Blue ’s application on my Browser http://www.adaptiveblue.com/ and all of it’s features. In my opinion there are two sparks of brilliance on the internet. Adaptive Blue’s creation Glue and Zemanta !  I am a firm believer in Public Relations since the best firm’s employ great content creators !  If for example Alex does not write a good headline ,polish the deck and rag the lines and is not an excellent  wordsmith his message is as dead as Custer ! For a few weeks, I've been testing a tool called Posterous, and I've come to like it a lot. You can post blogs simply by emailing post@posterous.com or a similar address - you don't even need an "account" or a "login" or a "password." Even in the private sector, this is considered a cool feature. But for government employees, it could be a breath of life in an otherwise locked-down state of cybersecurity affairs.

Posterous lets you post stuff by emailing their service – it passes it on to Twitter, Facebook, Blogs, Flickr, YouTube, and lots of others. I’m just testing it at the moment, so you probably want to ignore this post. Testing Markdown – test. Not sure if that will work – may work on PigPog, if Posterous [...]

A few weeks ago, we talked about Tumblr's most worthy rival, a blogging platform called Posterous. It's just become that much more worthy. The Y-Combinator startup believes that you should be able to post everything to your blog using email--whether you're uploading pictures, video, audio or just text. A noble gesture it was, but with one fatal flaw: Posterous blogs had no themes. That's right: they were blank white. This isn't all bad...

Posterous, the popular minimalist blogging service, just released a major update to its service, which includes customizable themes, a feature a lot of users had been waiting for. Users can now choose between five different themes, all of which are highly customizable. According to the company, additional themes will be added over time. Users can now also easily import their Tumblr blogs and even use their Tumblr themes as Posterous now also...

In between the realm of full-featured blogs (e.g. Wordpress, Typepad) and the microblog (e.g. Twitter), there is the dead-simple blog platform Posterous. It has won the hearts and minds of many users with its bookmarklet, its easy photo sharing features, and of course, its ability to create blog posts via email. While these features have been winners, Posterous has lacked one major feature that larger competitors such as Tumblr offer: custom...
