Escala - how to mess up a photoshoot with 4 beautiful girls!!

There is an advert on UK television that features Escala; 4 electro string musicians who came close to winning Britain’s Got Talent. I liked the track so I looked at their website, and being a photographer I was interested the stunning photos… but there were no stunning photos! Their gallery page is a mess of video grabs from their music video and tv appearances.

Souless, moody and awkward poses. No imagination from the photographer

I’m thinking these girls probably have a short life span if they’re not marketed properly. Where are the tours, the interviews, the media coverage? But most of all where are the stunning photos. Come on!? There are plenty of girls who are just ‘pretty’, but these girls have more to offer so there is a huge opportunity to get some amazing photos of them performing!

Bah, some people just don’t care about their art, I’d photograph them for free just to show them how it’s done!!!

Why does beauty have to mean moody? Where's the smiles?
