Whitetop Mountain and Elk Gardens, both in Virginia are two of the prettiest and wildest places, yet they are unknown to many. I was fortunate enough to run into a photographer a couple years ago that shared this information with me. Aunt Laurie's Christmas Wish is updated photos of the Kids. Do you know how hard it is to get 8 people together at the same time and have clear skies to do a photo shoot. One of the biggest mistakes a serious beginning photographer can make is to cut corners when purchasing a tripod. Tripods range from about $20 to well over $1,000. The temptation to save money and buy a cheap tripods is understandable, but, in the long run, a waste of good money.
