This is a great little hdtv for any bedroom or kitchen for its size! I was however, a little worried about the sound quality from other reviews I had read about this particuar model. After having it for a week I have found these bad reviews of the sound quality to be unfounded. The sound quality is excellent and plenty loud enough for a smaller room. The #1 feature of this set is the quality of the picture in brightly lit rooms. I have not seen another flat screen that handles light reflection as well as LG’s. The Samsung LN52A630 is truly AWESOME! I needed a TV that would work in a room with a lot of glare - after reading numerous reviews,comparing different models in the showrooms and checking prices at different web sites I finally decided on this Samsung thru Amazon.com. I picked the 630 series over the 650 because of the matte finish. After looking closely at HDTVs in stores, I noticed that even in dimly lit stores the plasma and many LCD models still had a lot of reflection of other light sources. I was a bit concerned because my living room has a lot of windows, and even my old CRT TV was hard to see in daylight. To my relief, this TV is much easier to watch in daytime than the CRT was. I waited months for the Samsung ln52a550 to go on sale, but purchased the ln52a630 when I found an unexpected "sale" (advertising error) at our local Circuit City. What luck! This is a fantastic TV. I was concerned about the infamous red tint the frame has, but in our location - hung between two large windows - no red can be seen from any angle, under any room lighting conditions.
