Purhcased this 29-Nov-2004. Retruned it 30-Nov-2004. Text was fuzzy , Pixelation issues. Bought it as an open item got a great deal. Even the DVD's did not seem that clear. Might have been a defective unit - but completley unacceptable for my set up (Satellite receiver with Monster S-Video high end cable). Purhcased a SHARP LC-20B6U-S instead. I have been waiting for a good tv, and finally I found this. Today I connect an Oppo BD, and this lcd can handle 1080p/24, and deep color, very good! The blacks are blacks, and the image are pretty good. When this tv is on, just consume 95 watts, if i compare with my old sharp 32 lcd, it has a consume of 161 watts. the only thing i dont put 5 stars is that the turner is a pretty slow. Bought thru Amazon.com and recvd excellent svc. Delivery men did not set up as TV was very cold and not recommended even turning it on until warmed to room temp. Lacked info in manual as to size of eye-bolt reqd on rear for stand-stabilization. Great for large room and viewing at at least eight feet or more. This Samsung LCD is the finest Samsung I've seen and I have 4 of them.In fact with Christmas approaching will probably purchase anothedr as a gift for my daughter. One of my hobbies is creating computer video greeting cards and family videos on DVD.I use this lttle gem of a flat screen TV to check the finished discs. It was no problem to set up, "plug and play" as it were. It fits neatly into my shelf unit and has a great picture. Even the sound is good.
