The 17th annual Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival has its earliest start ever during 2010. The 75 day festival begins on March 3rd and will run through May 18th, 2010. By moving the start more than 2 weeks earlier they will be able to offer some different flowers than they’ve previously been able to display. These color filled varieties include: petunias, violas, snapdragons, and other hardy flowers. The centerpiece of the Disney World Christmas celebrations would have to be the Epcot Candlelight Processional. Each night from November 27th through December 30th, a celebrity narrator reads the Christmas Story while accompanied by a mass choir and 50-piece live orchestra. This year the Christmas Holiday season officially begins on November 10th. This is that date that Disney World and more specifically the Magic Kingdom brings out the decorations, turns on their festive lights, and starts the celebration. The announcement of the deal, which would be one of the biggest ever foreign investments in China, comes less than two weeks before US President Barack Obama makes his first official visit here, starting November 15 in Shanghai.
