We just got back from a lovely 9 day adventure to Walt Disney World . We were there for my daughter's dance team, as they competed in Starpower's National Dance Competition! We stayed at the beautiful Disney's Yacht Club  which was great, due to being able to walk over to our competition! Great resort, just a walk away from Epcot and the Boardwalk! There's also a ferry ride to many places in the area, and Shuttle Buses to take you to other parks! The staff was outstanding and very accommodating...we enjoyed how personal they were! This weekend was absolutely CRAZY, yet I loved every single moment! This year I got the opportunity to be apart of The Disney MGM Studios 12 th annual Super Soap Weekend. As I continue with my blog on Disney World's past, the next stop over is at the Disney Hollywood Studios (a.k.a.Disney-MGM Studios). When I was in college at University of Central Florida, I had video professors try to convince us that there were three disntinct film studios in Orlando - Disney, Universal AND MGM. Wrong. There is Universal Studios and there is the area formally known as Disney-MGM Studios. Metro Goldwyn Mayer has never truly been apart of anything in Orlando.
