“On the altar of God, I swear eternal hostility against all forms of tyranny over the mind of man”. – Thomas Jefferson “I don’t mind saying it’s a sad, sad story when a mother will teach her daughter that she ought to hate a complete stranger. How in the world could the words that I said send somebody so over the edge that they’d write me a letter saying that I better shut and sing or my life will be over?” - from “Not Ready to Make Nice”; Dixie Chicks WACKO in the name of Patriotism is still WACKO! Then at the Fillmore Irving Plaza on the Perez Hilton tour. For me, the main event was at Irving Plaza (She was equally as good both nights, I just got to dance my ass off ... Read Full Story
It's kind of comparable to Michael Jackson. He was a sad freak of nature, but undeniably pure musical tallent. The Chick's harmonies and fantastic instrumental tallents are pure pleasure to my ears. But they really should just SHUT UP AND SING. ...
