Chrysler 300, Dodge Challenger, Charger Recalled to Fix Wheels

Chrysler LLC is recalling several rear-wheel-drive Chrysler and Dodge models because they may been built without a front wheel spindle nut. That could cause a tire-wheel separation when the vehicles were being driven, possibly leading to a crash.

The affected models and model years are: • CHRYSLER / 300 2009-2010 • DODGE / CHALLENGER 2009 • DODGE / CHARGER 2009-2010 • DODGE / CHALLENGER 2010

Dealers will inspect the tire and wheel assembly and, if necessary, repair the spindle nut installation free of charge.

Owners may contact Chrysler about Recall No. J27 at 1-800-835-14034.

Consumers may contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY: 1-800-424-9153) or at www.safercar.gov.
