A new set of ideas needs to be complied and embraced. A set of ideals that everyone can accept as being the best of all worlds. Sure this is optimistic and bit over simplyfied. A dear Islamic friend of mine sent me a link to this re-published article, so I took the time to re-read it, hoping to find something new that maybe I’d missed in 2005. After reading it for the second time I realized that this re-published article did serve a purpose. I noticed in particular that there were a lot of people not affiliate with the church that “said”. Sen. Chuck Grassley said….IRS spokesman Mark Green said…..Director of the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy, Jeff Krehely said…..Tax Expert Rod Pitzer said….., president of the American Institute of Philanthropy, Danie Borochoff said……but where are the members.
Bishop Eddie Long has established a mega church of over 25,000 members and none of them said anything! Well, let’s re-phrase that, because according to the article several members said they approved of Bishop Long’s compensation. But, where are the members that are unhappy about where there money is being used. After all we are talking about the congregations money right?
