INDIANAPOLIS — Commercial dog breeders and brokers must register with the state under a new law that takes effect Jan. 1. Under the law passed by the Indiana General Assembly last April, commercial brokers must register with the State Board of Animal Health if they sell at least 500 dogs or puppies per year. BOCA RATON, Fla. - Palm Beach county officials have shut down a dog breeding operation run by a man who was trying to develop what he called a ``super breed.'' According to a news release, animal control officers shut down the man's operation on Wednesday.
