MGA Entertainment Inc. has asked a federal appeals court to halt the transfer of its Bratz dolls to Mattel while it appeals a judge's ruling. MGA filed the emergency motion Tuesday, contending a court order to hand over the company's most popular product to its biggest rival before an appeal is reviewed "makes no sense" and would be devastating. Last month U.S. District Judge Stephen Larson upheld a $100 million jury verdict against MGA for copyright infringement and breach of contract. So, we wonder why Bratz .com have been banned. Mattel Inc., is the world’s biggest toymaker, toy seller. China is the biggest toymaker. Mattel won a court order banning MGA Entertainment Inc. from making and selling Bratz dolls. The court says Bratz infringed on Mattel copyrights.
