Dom DeLuise has died at the age of 75. The actor comedian died peacefully in his sleep last night around 6pm. DeLuise starred in classics like “ Blazing Saddles “, “The Cannonball Run “, “ Spaceballs “, and “ Robin Hood: Men in Tights “. It saddens me deeply today to report that the truly gifted funnyman Dom Deluise has died at the age of 75, according to TMZ . Yeah, I know this has little do with horror. Picking up on something I saw on Mark Evanier’s blog about Dom DeLuise: In 2002, I was executive producer of the Ovation Awards here in Los Angeles. Dom Deluise, an American actor, comedian, director, producer, chef, and author, amongst other things, died on Monday (May 4) after a long battle with cancer. Although her was hospitalized at the time, he did die peacefully in his sleep, which is some consolation. The ultimate foodie, Dom DeLuise, passed away yesterday at age 75. It was thirty years ago, when I met the kind and generous comic during a school trip to 20th Century Fox Studio.
