Carrie Prejean experienced the mercy of Donald Trump Tuesday morning as she was allowed to continue her reign as Miss California USA after several topless photos of the beauty queen appeared online.

Prejean, 21, first courted controversy at the Miss USA pageant where she told the judges that she did not support same-sex marriage, a stance many believe cost her the title of Miss USA. Prejean soon became a spokesperson for the National Organization for Marriage around the same time that thedirty.com started publishing topless photos of her.

Then we found out the beauty pageant helped her pay for breast implants. Then people started talking about taking away her Miss California title, (Tami Farrell liked that idea).Then there were more topless photos.

So why did the Donald refuse to fire Prejean? Maybe she was just too damn pretty. From Reuters:
Miss USA pageant owner Donald Trump praised Prejean for her beauty and standing by her opinion, and he judged the topless photos as acceptable for her to continue her reign. "If her beauty wasn't so great no one really would have cared," he said.
