Doug Blasdell dies

This is the message that Bravo posted regarding Doug's death:

Update: We're very sorry to report that Doug Blasdell recently passed in January, 2007. Bravo released the following statement: "All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by the terrible news of Doug Blasdell's untimely passing. He was an inspiring trainer, an exuberant colleague who made the gym a very fun place each and every day and was extraordinarily warm in all aspects of his life. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his many friends and colleagues at this very difficult time."

this really sux b/c i like doug i look up to him like a dad....and i just hate it that he died....

My sympathy goes out to Doug & his family & friends. I really liked him. He had a kind gentle heart. I will miss him terribly.

I have not seen the show since Jackie announced Doug was in the hospital. I just saw the clip from his friends memorial and am in shock.
Doug seemed to have the kindest heart ever. I am devastated to loose some one I had never met. My husband is a brain tumor survivor and it changes your life forever.
Doug you truly fought the good fight, the best. You will be missed.

I am a faithful viewer of Workout and admire the entire group. However, Doug, with his kind ways has touched the hearts of many. Without even knowing him he has inspired many of us "befores" to become "afters". Doug, you were living proof that God has Angels here on earth! We'll all miss you!!

Doug was a kind and gentle friend that I always wanted in my life.He will be missed in so many ways.Watching him made me want to change,to be a better person ,to more kind to people and realize that life could change at anytime..We love you Doug.

doug you were a great person that alot of people looked up to. it sad that your gone but not forgotten. u have showed alot of people how to live life and to be true to themself and others. doug i am sure you dont know how many people that you have touched but we will never forget you. may u rest in peace with your family. rock on doug dave

What a beautiful man, inside and out. Doug was caring, loving, incredibly sexy and very talented. Such a difficult loss. Love and prayers to the entire cast of Work Out as well as family and friends of Doug. P.S. Brian is such an incredible breeder (affectionately)....a real sweetheart....Doug would be so proud

Someone please share with me Doug's "Principles of Life"... the note that the one trainer carries in his wallet after Doug's death..

It is amazing how many people say the same thing about a man they only watched on t.v., "that he is angelic." But he really is, it's almost like God sent Doug to the world to give us all an individual message of love and kindness to others and ourselves. Thank you Doug and thank you God. P.S. I also would love to have Doug's "Principles of Life."

doug was such an inspiration , I have a son who is gay and watching doug just sent alot of wisdom my way I will miss watching Doug and will miss him just like everyone else

Could you tell me where Doug's birthplace was and where is Doug Buried? He seemed to be a great guy
and he will be missed a lot.
