One of the highpoints of EK MAIN AUR EK TU, a rare occasion in history of Hindi cinema, if one were to discount BAMBAI KA BABU (Dev Anand and Suchitra Sen do not marry as they are found to be brothers and sisters), is that the lead players in the film Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor do not marry each other and live happily thereafter, but continue to be friends as the film comes to a close ( though Imran Khan continues to have hopes in the heart...
