Show runners at Desperate Housewives have reportedly signed John Barrowman for a five-episode arc.  If you're not familiar with Barrowman, he's hugely popular across the pond and stars in the Doctor Who spin-off Torchwood .  The out small screen star is coming stateside for, not only the Housewives role, but a reported remake of Torchwood , which will air on FOX .
