Illinois prosecutors offered immunity 17 months ago to a man whose testimony they sought in the case of a missing suburban Chicago woman, a document reveals.
A copy of an agreement drawn up in the disappearance of Stacy Peterson of Bolingbrook, Ill., indicates Thomas Morphey was offered immunity in exchange for his testimony against Peterson's husband, Drew, the Joliet (Ill.) Herald-News reported Friday.
