Sheriff Fred Wegener
reported today that the gunman sexually assaulted at least some of the
6 Colorado high school girls that he held hostage, before killing one

Here is what we know so far:
He was 53 years old.
He wore a
hooded sweatshirt and a backpack. Police have not released details about what was in the backpack.
He had 2 weapons on him, a semi-automatic pistol and a revolver.
He was living in his jeep but had a Denver, CO mailing address.
Morrison had a lot of camping gear in the vehicle.

Lance Clem, a spokesman for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, said Duane Morrison sent a suicide letter to one of his brothers before the high school hostage standoff in Bailey, CO.
Mr. Clem said that he did not know the contents of the suicide letter.
