Peyton Manning will make his 192nd straight start, though the Colts are resting numerous starters, including defensive ends Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis, for their season finale. Freeney, cornerback Jerraud Powers, defensive tackle Antonio Johnson and right tackle Ryan Diem are among the Colts ruled out against Buffalo (5-10) on Sunday.  

It was a long time coming, but Dallas Clark has finally earned a spot on a Pro Bowl roster.The Indianapolis Colts tight end was one of six players from the 2009 AFC South champions to be named to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday along with quarterback Peyton Manning, wide receiver Reggie Wayne, center Jeff Saturday, defensive end Dwight Freeney and defensive end Robert Mathis.

As you all know already, the New York Jets beat the Indianapolis Colts this past Sunday after Colts head coach Jim Caldwell pulled his starters with only a slim lead. Now it seems that everyone with a television camera or a column or blog is talking about how the Colts shouldn't have done that.  You hear things like they they should have gone for 16-0 or they've changed the competitiveness of the league, and even it was unsporting of them...

I always thought the National Football League was about the fans. The idea of having professional sports in this country would be utterly ridiculous without them.
