The rink, located in the parking lot across the street from Wrigley's west side (along Clark), will open next Tuesday and remain open until the end of February. Changes coming for Wrigley Field, scoreboard ...... The front of the scoreboard will remain the same. The back has a neon sign that says "Chicago Cubs," which will remain the same. BCB reader dogbone sent me four photos that he said his grandfather took at a game at Wrigley Field on May 29, 1949. On that date the Cubs and Reds played a doubleheader, losing the first game 4-1 and winning the second game 10-2. Decorating Wrigley For Christmas As I sat here in Southern California this Christmas morning, I decided to look at the Cub World cam facing the main gate to see how Wrigley was faring today. What occurred to me as I did so was that the Cubs should do something to decorate for Christmas around the park.
