Earth, Wind & Fire Reunite with Chicago Band for Summer 2009 Tour
Two of pop music’s most enduring and successful bands are reuniting since their 2005 tour starting in Orange Beach, Alabama. Earth Wind & Fire recently performed for President Obama on February 22, 2009 as one of his favorite bands will play 30 concerts with the band Chicago beginning June 5th.
Earth, Wind & Fire’s founding members have been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Chicago, known for its great horn musicians and arrangements, has sold more than 100,000,000 records and 25 of its 30 albums have been certified platinum. I chose a few of EW&F’s videos for SongChannel’s top pick videos. My favorite of EW&F’s videos is a great concert performance of Reasons at #27 in the video player. It’s a must see.
