BOISE -- The trail next to the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery could become off-limits because of what the cemetery's director calls "misuse by overzealous recreationists." Veterans Cemetery Director Zach Rodriguez says a week-long tally, conducted with the help of a game camera, recently showed 70 percent of dogs on the trail were off-leash. Because of dogs wandering onto the Veterans Cemetery, leashes have been required since March of 2010...

Neighbors in the active Tuscany block are reeling over an alleged murder committed there. One of my pet peeves is a dog that doesn’t walk properly on a leash. That tells me the dog hasn’t been trained, owner hasn’t taken the time, or they have just given up on the training process. Any dog can be trained just given the proper tools and time.

Really! You're kidding me? Nope, it's true. I read the story in the Chronicle today. A man was walking two lap dogs,off leash, in a new section of the Golden Gate Ntl. Park. He was confronted by a Park Ranger and tried to walk away rather than get a ticket. So the Park Ranger felt she could not let this criminal escape without a good tazing to teach him a lesson.
