Ed Sheeran is having a big night.

Following an early win for best pop solo performance, the 24-year-old singer-songwriter has won the immense honor of song of the year for mega-hit "Thinking Out Loud."

Other contenders included Wiz Khalifa for "See You Again," Taylor Swift for "Blank Space," Hillary Lindsey for "Girl Crush," and Kendrick Lamar for "Alright."

While accepting his Grammy, the Brit thanked his co-workers and label, but made sure to pay special attention to his parents, who he illustrated as being incredibly supportive:

"[I want to thank] my parents who have flown in the past four years; every single time I lose and they go, 'Maybe next year.'"

Looks like 2016 is starting off well.
