Harris's fiance Ed Swiderski.The Bachelorette Season 5 finale aired last night, and in the show's climax, 29-year-old Jillian Harris accepted a marriage proposal from contestant Ed Swiderski (also 29). Harris, for those who haven't been keeping up, also appeared on the last season of The Bachelor, but was rejected by Jason Mesnick -- who has since gained infamy for proposing to not one but two ladies during his time on the show.
Anyway, Jillian and Ed had all kinds of sweet nothings for one another after she chose him over finalist Kiptyn Locke and Reid Rosenthal (whom she'd already rejected before but "pulled a million strings" to get back on the show and pop the question).
Jillian:
I've been waiting to tell you 'I love you' for so long. Ed:
You're everything I could ever ask for in a woman...you make me smile when I look in your eyes. I want you to give me a hard time when we're 80 years old.
Congrats to the new couple! Now we wait to see if they actually make it down the aisle.

Bachelorette stars Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski took the Windy City by storm Thursday night. Flanked by four friends at Chicago's Sunda New Asian restaurant, the duo noshed on spicy lobster and Wagyu sushi rolls, then walked to Underground nightclub, where they rubbed elbows with rocker Gavin Rossdale.
