Van Halen 2010 Tour Information

Well the forecast looks good. David Lee Roth maybe cured of ‘lead singer disease’ or perhaps the Van Halens understand what a great American sound the band Van Halen is with Diamond Dave. Rehearsals have begun for the 2010 Van Halen tour.

Ticketmaster CEO Irving Azoff took the lid off the secret during a press conference. He stated Van Halen will tour sometime during 2010.

In the meantime, Eddie Van Halen’s Twitter account shows the band has been rehearsing classics like Drop Dead Legs, House of Pain, and Outta Love Again, and Eddie says they are having a blast playing classics they haven’t played in years.

Rumor has it the band has been working on new material but Eddie says he wants son Wolfgang to graduate from high school before they release a new CD. The band might tour to support the release of Van Halen Guitar Hero, which is a blast. (I got the free version.) Let’s hope there is new material. It’s been over 11 years since the band released Van Halen 3 with front man and pro life supporter Gary Cherone, which I thought was a great effort.
