Dame Eileen Atkins has signed on for one-off ITV play The Scapegoat. The 77-year-old actress will star alongside Matthew Rhys in the adjustment of Daphne du Maurier’s novel. Atkins went forth her part as Lady Holland on Upstairs Downstairs on DVD in Aug after one serial, theoretically due to issues with the BBC play’s playscript.
