Temperatures inside an electric arc furnace can rise to approximately 1800 degrees Celsius.

The best matter about gas furnace is that they are cost-efficient and are a better selection where gas supply is more. The only demerit is that it gives out exhaust fumes on burning of fuel. In furnaces which are well preserved, the fumes are confined in the exchanger and goes out via an exhaust vent. It must be recollected nevertheless that, a gas furnace must be scrutinized by a certified professional at least once a year.
