Bravia XDV-W600, Sony’s 4-inch waterproof TV

Sony has unveiled its newest BRAVIA TV, the 4-inch waterproof Bravia XDV-W600 for the Japanese market. The new portable, white and round TV can be taken to the bath because it floats in the tub.

The Bravia XDV-W600 sports a 16.7-million color, 272 x 480 pixel LCD,  AM/FM tuner, 2GB of internal memory that can record up to 10 hours of 1-Seg TV broadcasts.  Other features include 23-hours of viewing time using the internal rechargeable + 2x AA alkaline batteries, an IPX7 and IPX6 waterproof rating making it submersible for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 3.3 feet.

The Sony BRAVIA XDV-W600 will be available in Japan on October 30 for $368.
