Apparently this Onkyo receiver and perhaps others in the Onkyo line have problems with Verizon's FIOS service when using HDMI cables. I suspect that the problem lies with the Verizon set top box/DVR not the receiver but buyers should be aware of the issue. I am told by Onkyo and Verizon that other cable connections will work but if you want an HDMI set up, you will have to go elsewhere. ViewSonic is going to release in China its V901 smartphone running the newest Windows Mobile 6.5 OS. The V901 is powered by a Marvell PXA310 processor, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM. It gets a 3.6-inch 480×800 touchscreen display and a 5 Megapixel camera.
ViewSonic’s V901 supports CDMA EVDO Rev.A 3G network. It also includes Bluetooth, microSD card slot and GPS support. Interesting, as you can see in the picture, the V901 features also TouchWiz UI. The phone will come in Q4 2009.
