I just hung up the phone with one of Maddie and London’s favorite people… Andrea Castiglione (aka “Mrs. C”) of Mendham Extended Day Program. We all met Mrs. C. back in February when Rex and I moved our investment banking practice into another firm and began commuting more regularly into New York City. As a mom, I was worried about the effects my early commute would have on 8-year-old London and 7-year-old Maddie. With Mrs. C’s expert care, I shouldn’t have worried… if you ask my girls... Seems like everyone's got a wish this holiday season... London and Maddie have been writing letters to Santa, but this year they've been more conscious of other people's needs and situations. I can’t believe we’re coming up on the last day of school, but Rex and I have attended two year-end celebrations: Maddie’s Incredible Kid Day in the first grade, and London’s Beatnik Poetry Cafe in the second grade. Luckily, Roxy and the other Roxiticus Desperate Housewives have made our kids’ plans for summer camp 2009. In case you’re still figuring it out for your family, I’ll do my best to cover the camps my kids have tried, and the ones my friends recommend.
